The word CURA means HEALING in Portuguese. The word CURANDO is CURA's "present progressive" form. It is active and alive. Here, the name speaks to the continuous effort required to tend to our bodies, minds, and spirits which hold past and ongoing hurts and traumas.  

Our experiences of existing within societies rooted in colonization, highlight the need to seek healing modalities that activate our dorment potential, and inspire our individual and collective stories to unfold in the interest of a just and sustainable existence.
